Dear Stapleton citizens:
Sweet Water Café and the Stapleton Volunteer Fire Department are co-hosting a special Holiday event for the local community. Saturday December 13th @ 5:00 the Holiday event will kick off with sweet treats and hot chocolate for every one. While we wait on Santa Claus to arrive there will be story telling and Christmas Songs. Once Santa Arrives each child will have an opportunity talk to him and have their FREE picture made with Santa and printed out onsite to take home.
We are working hard to promote this fun activity for all, while keeping in mind there are many needy families in our community. You will be able to purchase a hotdog, chips, and drink for $3.00 with the proceeds going to the Salvation Army and Toys for Tots to be used in our local community. We are making a list of the needy in our area and doing our best to make sure those children who would go without this year have something for a gift this year. If you know of a family in need in our town please let one of the Officers of the SVFD know or e-mail us at needychild@stapletonvfd.com, so we may work on bringing joy to that child this year.
